Carrick has announced his retirement from Manchester United after leading the team to three games unbeaten.

Carrick made 464 appearances for the Red Devils between 2006 and 2018, winning five Premier League titles  FA Cup, League Cup 2, UEFA Champions League , UEFA Europa League. and the FIFA Club World Cup

He made his first coaching role in 2018 under Jose Mourinho shortly after his retirement from football.
